Shadow of Yserbius is the first game I ever played that might be called an MMO. It was a fantasy RPG hosted on the Imagination Network where players could form groups and explore a dungeon maze. The dungeon was presented in a first person view and players moved through it square by square unable to see anything other than the dungeon outside of the square they were standing in. It was quite a long time ago and I didn't get to play very much so i don't really remember many of the details of the game. None of the features of the game really stand out in my memory just the fact that this is the earliest graphical online game I can recall having played.
